# Best ranked keywords API in 2026

We benchmarked 4 providers and rank all 4 by score. For the three we score highest, we show each one's top scoring plan, each part of the plan's score and what 1,000 keywords cost. The Data score on ranked keywords APIs: This score, out of 100, shows how many of a domain's keywords still rank on Google. The score also shows how many fields the provider's call returns for those keywords. We send each domain to the provider's call, in the United States and in English. For each domain, we take the call's best 10 keywords by position. We check each keyword on Google's first page. A keyword still ranks when Google's first page shows the domain within 3 places of the position the call gave. We skip a keyword at a position past 10. We also skip a keyword whose Google page we could not read. We count the keywords that still rank. We divide that count by the highest count any provider got on the same domain. We also count fields, such as search volume and cost per click. For each field, we count the keywords that still rank and have the field. We score each field against the highest count any provider got on that domain. Then we average the scores over all domains. Each domain counts the same. Say another call has a keyword that still ranks on a domain. A call with no such keyword scores 0 on that domain. A field a call doesn't offer counts as 0. We don't count a domain where no call returned a keyword. We compare a provider that ran on fewer domains with the other providers on those same domains. A provider can't score higher by running only on easy domains. We lower the score when we test the call on fewer domains than the benchmark has.
