# Datacircle

> Datacircle is a B2B data API with no markup: one API key and one balance for B2B data providers (Up2Data and HarvestAPI), each call at the provider's own price. LinkedIn profiles cost $1.25 per 1,000 found through Up2Data (a profile not found is free) and $3.70 per 1,000 through HarvestAPI. Every workspace gets a $5 credit at signup. Datacircle also gives away a 10M+ US B2B leads dataset, free, in one file.

The data is shared: every LinkedIn profile anyone fetches through Up2Data goes into a co-op file, new every day, unlocked once a workspace has added $50 in funds or 3 people it invited sign up.

### What is Datacircle?

A B2B data API. Same kind of data as Apollo or ZoomInfo. You fetch it through us at the provider's own cost, with no markup, and every LinkedIn profile anyone fetches through Up2Data goes into a shared co-op file.

### How much does a LinkedIn profile cost?

$1.25 per 1,000 profiles found through Up2Data, the default, and a profile it can't find is free. $3.70 per 1,000 through HarvestAPI, which also bills a lookup that finds nothing ($0.0023). That is exactly what each provider charges us.

### Which providers are behind the API?

Up2Data and HarvestAPI, behind one API key and one balance. Pick Up2Data by default: it is cheaper, and a profile it can't find is free. Use HarvestAPI past Up2Data's daily limit, or for the sections only it answers (recommendations, interests, certifications, honors).

### Is Datacircle a HarvestAPI alternative?

Datacircle gives you HarvestAPI's LinkedIn profile at HarvestAPI's own price ($3.70 per 1,000), and Up2Data's next to it at $1.25 per 1,000 found, with a profile not found free. One key and one balance for both: you send a profile URL either way.

### Is there a daily limit?

Up2Data: $1 a day per account (800 profiles), with a shared daily limit for all customers; past either, the API answers 429 until 00:00 UTC. HarvestAPI: none.

### Can I use Datacircle from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor?

Yes, through its MCP server, https://api.datacircle.dev/mcp: add it as a connector or remote MCP server, sign in with your Datacircle email, and your agent can fetch LinkedIn profiles, check your balance and list your files. Each call costs what the same API call costs.

### How do I get an API key?

Log in with your work email (freemail addresses are refused). Your dashboard shows your API key, a prompt to paste into your agent, and a link to the docs.

### Are there free credits?

Every workspace gets a $5 credit at signup that never expires: 4,000 LinkedIn profiles through Up2Data.

### How do I add funds?

From your dashboard, or through the API (POST /checkout/): pick any whole number of dollars from $5 to $10,000, pay with Stripe Checkout, and it is added to your balance. Funds never expire; credits are spent first.

### Is there a subscription?

No. You pay per call from your balance, at the provider's own price. Once a workspace has spent $500, a direct query account and file delivery to a destination of your choice are coming.

### Is the 10M+ US B2B leads dataset really free?

Yes. Sign up with your work email and download it whole, in one file: no API calls, no pagination, no rate limits. Validated emails (27% fill rate) and direct phone numbers (43% fill rate), at U.S. companies of 11 to 500 employees. Of 3,000 people we checked on LinkedIn in October, 88% have the same company and title.

### What is the 50M+ US dataset?

A bigger U.S. B2B dataset, the one our free lists come from. It unlocks once 3 people you invited sign up.

### What is in the co-op files?

Flat Parquet files, one per provider (coop_up2data, coop_harvestapi), with the public LinkedIn profiles fetched through Datacircle, new every day. Every column is typed and documented, no JSON. No private data: no emails, keys or who fetched what.

### How do I unlock the co-op files?

Add $50 in funds (in total) to your workspace, or have 3 people you invited sign up. Credits don't count toward the $50.
