A B2B data co-op: what one customer fetches, everyone gets

Datacircle is a B2B data API with no markup, and a co-op: everything sourced through it goes to the whole community. Every LinkedIn profile any customer fetches goes into a shared file, one per provider, rebuilt every day. So every credit a customer spends grows the dataset everyone gets.

Add $50 in funds, in total, and your workspace downloads the co-op files: $50 of API calls at the provider's price, plus the flat file of every profile fetched so far.

From GET /files/ on October 9, 2026, the 06:00 UTC build. One row per profile, its latest answer. "Fields in all" counts the fields inside the lists too: a job in the history has its title, company, dates, description and skills. Both files are new every day, a full snapshot of everything fetched through that provider so far.

What's in a row

Every field the provider answers, named as the provider names it, flat: an object becomes one column per subfield (location_city), a list stays one column, never JSON text. In the Up2Data file: the profile's URL, LinkedIn id and name; its headline and location; the current company with its title, start date, industry and headcount; the full job history, each role with its description and skills; education; skills with their endorsements; the About section; languages, certifications, publications, patents and awards; Premium and open-to-work flags; followers and connections; and when the profile was scraped.

The HarvestAPI file has every section of the profile: the same, plus recommendations received, interests, courses, projects, volunteering, organizations, the featured section and services. Every column with its type: Dataset fields in the docs.

What it never holds

Emails and phone numbers written in a profile read [redacted]. The file never holds who fetched what, the emails of Datacircle's users, costs or any credential. A profile the provider says is gone leaves that provider's file.

How to get it

Add $50 in funds to your workspace, in total, from your dashboard or through the API (POST /checkout/returns a Stripe payment page). Credits don't count. Or have 3 people you invited sign up: that unlocks the co-op file and the 50M+ US dataset too. Then list your files and get a download link, valid for an hour:

curl https://api.datacircle.dev/files/ -H "Authorization: Token $DATACIRCLE_API_KEY"
curl -X POST https://api.datacircle.dev/files/$FILE_ID/download-link/ \
  -H "Authorization: Token $DATACIRCLE_API_KEY"
import pandas as pd

harvestapi = pd.read_parquet("coop_harvestapi.parquet")
up2data = pd.read_parquet("coop_up2data.parquet")

Why a co-op

A data vendor sells each record to every customer who asks for it, and keeps it. Datacircle charges each call at the provider's own price, nothing added, and keeps what it fetched for everyone: the more customers fetch, the bigger the file each of them downloads. A profile Datacircle already holds may even be answered from what is stored, at no cost.

The prices per provider: Pricing. The API itself: a B2B data API with no markup.

Questions

What is a B2B data co-op?

A pool of B2B data its members share. Classic direct-marketing co-ops pool their members' own customer records. Datacircle's pools what its customers buy through its API: every public LinkedIn profile anyone fetches goes into one file per provider, and every member who qualifies downloads all of it.

What is in Datacircle's co-op file?

One row per LinkedIn profile, its latest answer, with every field the provider answers: name, headline, location, current company and title, the full job history with each role's description and skills, education, skills and endorsements, languages, certifications, publications, patents and awards. HarvestAPI's file adds recommendations, interests, courses, projects and volunteering.

How do I get the co-op files?

Add $50 in funds to your workspace, in total, or have 3 people you invited sign up. The $50 stays yours to spend on API calls at the provider's price; the files come with it, new every day, for the foreseeable future. Credits don't count toward the $50.

How often is it updated?

Every day. Each file is a full snapshot of everything fetched through that provider so far, one row per profile, so the newest file is the only one you need. A profile the provider says is gone leaves the file.

Does the co-op file contain emails or phone numbers?

No. Emails and phone numbers written in a profile read [redacted]. The file never holds who fetched what, the emails of Datacircle's users, costs or any credential.

How big is the co-op today?

On October 9, 2026: 10,696 profiles in the HarvestAPI file (52.1 MB) and 1 in the Up2Data file. Every profile a customer fetches adds a row or refreshes one.
