LinkedIn Profile API, from $1.25 per 1,000 profiles
Send a LinkedIn profile URL, get the profile back as JSON: current and past jobs, schools, skills, certifications, followers and connections. Datacircle gives you two providers behind one API key, Up2Data and HarvestAPI, each at its own price with no markup.
Up2Data costs $1.25 per 1,000 profiles found, and a profile it can't find is free. Your $5 signup credit covers 4,000 of them.
One call, one profile
Your Datacircle key goes in the Authorization header, and the X-Data-Provider header names the provider. With Up2Data:

Pick Up2Data by default: it is cheaper, and a profile it can't find is free. Use HarvestAPI past Up2Data's daily limit, or for the sections only it answers: recommendations, interests, certifications, honors.

What Datacircle adds to every answer
One object, so your code always knows what a call cost and what is left:

Is this a LinkedIn profile enrichment API?
Yes: send a LinkedIn profile URL and get the person's profile back as JSON, to enrich a CRM record or a list. Up2Data's call is POST /v1/profiles/enrich, HarvestAPI's GET /linkedin/profile, both behind one Datacircle key.
How much does the LinkedIn profile API cost?
$1.25 per 1,000 profiles found through Up2Data ($0.00125 a profile), and nothing for a profile it can't find. $3.70 per 1,000 through HarvestAPI, which also bills a lookup that finds nothing ($0.0023). That is each provider's own price: Datacircle adds nothing.
Is there a free LinkedIn profile API?
Every workspace gets a $5 credit at signup that never expires: 4,000 profiles through Up2Data, at most 800 a day. A profile Datacircle already holds is answered from what is stored, for free.
What do I send?
A LinkedIn profile URL, like https://www.linkedin.com/in/williamhgates. Up2Data refuses a bare public identifier; HarvestAPI takes the URL as a query parameter.
What does a call that fails cost?
Nothing: a private or deleted profile (422 from Up2Data), a bad request (400), a rate limit (429), or a provider that fails or doesn't answer within 45 seconds (502, 503) is not charged. The one exception is HarvestAPI's own billed lookup of a profile it can't find.
Is there a rate limit?
Up2Data: $1 a day per account (800 profiles), plus a daily limit shared by all customers; past either, 429 until 00:00 UTC. HarvestAPI: none, so use it past Up2Data's limit.
