The Data score on phone validation APIs

How often the call judges a number right, out of 100: valid when it is real, invalid when it is fictional. Real numbers count for half the score and fictional numbers for the other half. A call scores 0 if it calls no fictional number invalid. It also scores 0 if it calls no real number valid. A call that never checks whether the number is in use scores 0. The digits alone show which numbers are fictional. A refused call counts as not right. Some providers ran on only part of the numbers. We compare each such provider with the providers that ran on all the numbers, using only the numbers that provider ran on. That way, easy numbers can't raise its score. We don't compare a provider with a call that scores 0. A call that scores 0 tells us nothing about which numbers are hard. When no provider ran on all the numbers, we score each provider on the numbers it ran on. We score a provider on every call we made to it for a number, so one run can't decide its score.
