The Data score on web scraping APIs

Out of 100: how much of the page's text the call returns. Each web scraping API on this sheet fetches the page when you call the API. Within minutes of each call, we open the page in our own browser. We keep each line of the page with three words or more. A line counts when the answer's text, HTML or Markdown has the same line. For each page, we work out what share of the page's lines the answer holds. We average this share over all pages. Each page counts the same. A call that failed or returned no text counts as 0. Extra text in the answer that the page doesn't show doesn't change the score. We leave out a page our browser could not open. We also leave out a page with fewer than 10 lines. We then lower the score to the lowest score we are 95% sure the call earns. We lower the score more when we test fewer pages.
