The Data score on GitHub user repository APIs

This score, out of 100, shows how many of an account's repositories a provider's call returns. The score also shows how many fields the provider's call returns for each repository. We ask for the first page of each account's repositories, using the account's username. We also read each account's list of repositories on GitHub, within minutes of calling the providers. For each account, we look at the first 100 repositories. We match each repository the call returned to the account's list on GitHub by its name. We count the repositories the provider's call returned, up to 100. We take the number of repositories the account has from the account's list on GitHub, up to 100. We count the repositories that had each field, such as the stars and the license. We divide each field's count by the highest count we saw, from any provider or from the account's list on GitHub. We don't count a provider's value when two other providers agree on a different value. We skip a provider's 0 when two other providers give a count above 0. A live repository changes between calls. We don't check the last push, the update time or a count above 0 against the other providers' answers. When we compare a provider with the others, we count the account's list on GitHub as one more provider. We leave out a part we can work out from the owner and the name, such as the repository's web address. We leave out a part that is the same on every repository we called. We average the results for the repositories and the fields for each account. We average those account results over all accounts. Each account counts the same. An account with no repository in the answer counts as 0. We compare a provider that ran on fewer accounts with the other providers on those same accounts. A provider can't score higher by running only on easy accounts. We lower the score when we test the call on fewer accounts than the benchmark has.
